EBelaire Debuts at Fair Hill Scottish Games

Ed McFarland - Competes!

We were very excited to watch Ed McFarland compete once again with the Baltimore City Pipe Band at this years 63rd Fair Hill Scottish Games in Maryland.   As the Pipe Major of the band, Ed lead the band for more than 12 years until health issues forced him to step away.   However today, with the use of the EBelaire™, he has successfully returned to both the practice hall and now the competition circle with his band.  Congratulations are truly due to Ed for his courage and determination!

EUSPBA takes Lead on TEchnology Rules

The EUSPBA Refines Rules Governing Technology Usage in 2024.

The EUSPBA for 2024 has modified the Technology Rule to require specific approval to use devices, like the EBelaire, to compete at sanctioned events.   This permission may be requested  as follows:

1.  Send an email to ZecSec@Euspba.org requesting permission to use the EBelaire, accompanied by justification of need supported by medical authority, instructor or Pipe Major letters.

2.  These documents will be forwarded to the EUSPBA Music Board who will render a decision

3. The EUSPBA secretary will provide you an emailed permission which can be copied and presented on contest day to the stewards and judges.
